Child Care Matters Network is Milwaukee's best training program for the child care workforce. Our training program include the DCF Child Care Foundational Trainings: Introduction to Child Care Profession, Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, Fundamentals of Family Child Care, School Age Assistant Child Care Worker, Fundamentals of Infants & Toddlers. Our state of the art hands on training component will teach you how to effectively provide care for ages: infants through school age children and and help support their holistic development through exploration and discovery. More broadly, you ll learn how to work ethically and legally within a regulated child care center while working with a diverse range of people. Our training program is top notch, participants also receive the industry recognized Registry Certificate and includes health/safety topics (CPR, AED, First Aid, Abusive Head Trauma, Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS, Child Abuse, and The Period of Purple Crying). We are approved and recognized by the State of Wisconsin. Our program is ideal for anyone seeking a career in a child care, preschool, youth program, before/after school program as: Child Care Teacher Assistant Child Care Teacher Preschool Teacher School Age Teacher Family Child Care Provider Certified Child Care Provider Center Director Center Administrator Any other organization that requires a Child Care Teacher At Child Care Matters Network, we believe there are few jobs more rewarding than working with children, so getting proper child care training is the perfect place to start.
Child Care Matters Network currently provide professional development, assessments, business to business support services, and program assistance to area programs who serve families with children ages 0 - 13. Partnership and collaboration efforts are in effect with United Way agencies, for profit programs, as well as non profit programs. Our unique child care teacher certification program directly impact children's learning outcomes by either preparing young children for traditional school or extending the school ager's learning capacity.
Individuals who complete our child care teacher certification program will have the KSAs (knowledge, skills, and abilities) that high quality early childhood programs are actively seeking. Individuals will begin a career in child care that may lead to a career as a highly qualified child care teacher, owner, or center director/administrator.
We offer a teachers lounge/learning lab for anyone participating in our program. Individuals will have access to work and study spaces, computers, internet, copiers, printers, and miscellaneous office supplies. Individuals receive additional support to acquire the best understanding of the Child Care Matters Network curriculum, expectations, and course requirements.

Additional requirements of health and safety prerequisites, uniforms, and an industry related certificate which is required for obtaining a child care teacher/staff position in the child care field. KSA training (knowledge, skills, and abilities). Learning lab/teachers' lounge participation.
Full payment is required to reserve enrollment in the program, we require a 14 day notice to cancel your enrollment and process a refund request. Refunds must be made by emailing us at ccmn414@gmail.com. Use the subject "Refund Request" and the body of your email must contain all of your contact information: 1. start date of your class 2. first and last name 3. address, city, state, and zip code 4. reason for request. There are no refunds after the class start date.
